New York-based Paul Sforza's Lifelines is a patchwork of tender ballads, upbeat pop, and soulful tales from the darker side of relationships. The debut album, produced by Sugarland musical director Scott Patton, has received praise for its "sophisticated" and "comfortably timeless" take on adult pop and has earned Paul comparisons to classic artists such as Paul Simon, Steve Winwood, and Michael McDonald.

Before relocating to New York, Paul spent many fruitful years on the Atlanta scene. Emerging as a repeat winner of local open-mic competitions, he built a following through local club gigs as well as live performances and promotions for local radio stations Z93, WREK, and 680 The Fan. Strong fan support for his band Paul Sforza and Release helped lead to a Readers' Choice nod in Creative Loafing's "Best of Atlanta" issue. 

The songs on Lifelines have continued to garner critical praise as well as listener interest. Several tracks have received honorable mention in international songwriting competitions, including the Billboard World Song Contest. They are also featured on an adult-contemporary playlist currently receiving airplay at retailers such as Office Depot and J.C. Penney. 

Paul's first show upon returning to his hometown was the side stage at the CD 101.9 Jazz Festival. He continues perform for his devoted fans at venues in the New York area. He has recently begun work on a new EP due in late 2011.
